Annette O’Brien is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Melbourne, Australia, just a stone’s throw from the stunning landscapes of the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges.  

With an eye for detail and clean composition, Annette's work spans across interiors, product, lifestyle, travel, and portraits.

Her work has been published in Australian House & Garden, Home Beautiful, Inside Out, Adore Magazine, Domain, The Design Files, Australian Traveller, and various international publications. Additionally, Annette has lent her creative vision to two books with client Ivy Muse, published by Thames and Hudson Australia.

A trusted visual partner for businesses large and small, Annette has photographed commercial projects for a wide variety of clients including homewares and bedlinen brands, property developers and interior designers.

When she’s not shooting, Annette finds solace in nature, whether gardening, walking, gazing at trees, doing happy jumps after spotting an echidna in the wild, or just asking strangers if she can pat their dog.
